France's Foreign Minister Herve de Charette has complained to the president of the European Commission that there's too much English on the EC's web sites. According to a Reuters article, French President "Jacques Chirac has ordered a counter-offensive by La Francophonie, the group of French-speaking countries, to cut the lead taken by the English language on the Internet."
